SCURO Candle holder
The SCURO candle holders bring our much loved textured technique to a simple brutal form with function. SCURO meaning «dark» or «without light», highlighting their purpose in being the bearer of light, is about shining light on the detailed texture and materiality of a simple form. The flicker of light plays against the metals texture and the dripping of the wax undulates down the stepped surface of the holder.
The solid textured brass form has been carefully coated by hand with our black finish, leaving the gold of the brass to show only once the the candle has been removed.
